My Background

My name is Nikki Thomas, I am a wife, a mother, and a certified teacher.  I have been married to Jonathan Thomas for 14 years. He is my high school sweetheart and best friend.  Jonathan and I started www.christianmarriagehq.com, a Christian marriage blog.  We have three children together, Julia, Joshua, and Janna.  Julia is our oldest, she is in the 7th grade.  Joshua is our second oldest, he is in the 6th grade. Janna is our youngest, she is in 4th grade.  I was a Stay-At-Home-Mom/ Home Manager for 12 years.  I received my Bachelors in Education from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2006. I am currently working toward completing my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

Why I started Christian Homeschool Headquarters

When Jonathan and I decided to homeschool our children, finding information on homeschooling was difficult.  I spoke with multiple homeschooling parents and my school district, and what I found was that every parent operated their homeschool differently. Some were more strict and some were very relaxed.  I wanted to run my homeschooling experience similarly to a brick and mortar school.  I developed my own daily schedule which included spiritual and academic lessons.  I started this website for the homeschooling parents that desire structure.

My Goal

My desire is to be used by the Lord to help as many families as possible.  If you find my site to be a blessing to you, please spread the word so that other families can be helped and encouraged as well.  Thank you!
